Manual medicine

Manual medicine is a set of therapeutic techniques based on the use of the hands to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, nervous and functional problems. This therapeutic approach includes techniques such as osteopathy, chiropractic, manual physiotherapy and manual massage therapy.

The goal of manual medicine is to restore mobility, function and balance to the various structures of the body, such as bones, joints, muscles and soft tissues. It can help relieve pain, improve blood circulation and posture, and strengthen the immune and nervous systems.

Although manual medicine is often considered complementary to traditional medicine, it is increasingly recognized as an effective therapeutic approach for the treatment of many musculoskeletal and functional disorders. It is important to note, however, that manual medicine should not be used as a substitute for proper medical care for serious medical conditions
